Step 1: Check out Pre-Arrival Information - (Online)

Travelling to Canada soon? Not sure what to pack, what to expect at the border and what life in Canada is like overall? If this sounds like you, please visit out Pre-Arrival Information webpage for access to the essential pre-arrival information, pre-arrival webinar and informational video series. This is your first step toward your new KPU journey, and it’s a good idea to review it at least 8 weeks before your planned travel to Canada.

Step 2: Join International LIVE Orientation for New International Students - (Online)

This session is held in a live format and is mandatory for all new international students starting at KPU in the upcoming semester. During the webinar, you will learn about the various departments that support you throughout your university experience, as well as essential information you need to know as a new international student. You can find the link for this webinar in your KPU mailbox closer towards the date of the session.

Format: Online Webinar (Live session)
When? About 2 weeks prior to the program start date.

Step 3: Register and join New Student Orientation - (In-person)

This is an in-person portion of the orientation and it's designed for all new KPU students to explore the campus, explore the various resources and services available at KPU, connect with the KPU community (make friends), get prepared for your first semester at KPU and a chance to win some cool prizes! Registration is mandatory for this session.

  Format: In-person
  When?  In-person orientation is happening 1 week before program starts date. However, you must register as soon as registration is open for your intake. Please continue visiting corresponding orientation website for the registration link. 

Step 4: Missed New Student Orientation? Join the Welcome Weeks - (In-Person)

Departments all across KPU host a number of events on each campus to celebrate the start of the term.
